3D Design

Why Do We Design in 3D?

Designing in 3D helps clients to visualize their space before committing to an upscale outdoor project. This allows them to fall in-love with the project, while making it the easiest decision they’ve ever made regarding their home.

It allows clients to feel involved in the design process and allows them to make changes easily.
It keeps everyone on the same page; we send final photos for approval before the clients sign a contract.

Design Process

1. Budget

The first step is to have a phone call to discuss any ideas that the client has and a budget for their project. Having this information beforehand allows us to decipher which features will fit within that budget to ensure a proper design is proposed.

2. Design Fee

Most outdoor projects require a 2D/3D Design. You're more than welcome to bring a drawing to us that has been done by another company, and we will quote it for you. However, if you are starting from scratch, we can draw a design for you. We require a design fee of $1,500.00 and a signed design contract for all 3D Designs. Designs include 10 hours of work (including small revisions). New Beginnings Landscape does not allow any of our designs to be used at other companies- so, if you for some reason end up going in another direction, the $1,500.00 paid for the design will cover the time, resources, and labor put into the design.

3. Design Consultation

Within our first design consultation is where we receive the signed contract, design cost, ideas, gather measurements, required documents, and photos of the client’s property. We use a 3D software system that allows us to view the client’s property through the GIS feature. This allows for viewing not only measurements, but the terrain of the property as well. We like to gather measurements/terrain levels in person as well to be as accurate as possible while designing.

4. Design Process

When the design process begins, we can either send photos as we design, or wait until the design is finished. Our communication and desire to satisfy our clients, allows us to deliver and unmatched quality of service. We want nothing more than for our clients to love their design, as this is such an exciting journey for any homeowner! During this design process, we are designing with your budget and ideas in mind, while incorporating our own creative ideas as well.

5. Quoting

As the design process comes to an end and we receive our client’s approval, we then begin the quoting process for the Outdoor Project. At this point, we already have the client’s maximum budget at hand, so as we design, we can decipher which features the client can afford in their set budget. Once quoted, everything is itemized which allows the client to easily make changes to the quote. Whether the client wants to decrease or increase the budget, we will make sure the client is highly satisfied with the quote before signing and beginning the Construction Phase.

6. Approval and Contract Signing

After the Quoting process has completed, and the contract has been signed and approved, our payment system is then implemented. Every outdoor project is spread out with a 10% Deposit (this allows us to insert the client into our schedule), Three 25% Payments (One payment when we are ready to begin, halfway through the project, and 3/4 completed), and the remainder is collected after the project has been completed.
